Todd Howard voice #23

Do we have or will we have Todd Howard as one of the voices? Is that within the scope of this project?

I would really love to have Todd Howard as one of the possible voices. This would take me even further to my dream of having Todd Howard in Fallout 4 as a companion telling me to buy Skyrim (again).

Thanks.

Nevermind, I just found Todd's voice on your patreon, here . Thanks for the amazing work.

Have been reading up on this as it's a developing legal area, and you may want to reconsider whether you want to publish Todd's voice.

The rights to the character voices (created by voice actors, but signed over under contract as 'works for hire') are owned by the corporation, which simply may not find it profitable (or worth the bad press) to pursue legal recourse in an untested legal sector, but replicating the natural voice of a real person may be considered a privacy or personal violation (whether you personally think there are moral issues or not) or perhaps even may be elevated to supporting/promoting identity theft if used by a malicious person, rather than the (so far untested) simpler copyright issue that applies to character voices.

Don't have an answer for you (I'm not a lawyer), but just wanted to raise the concern, because some lawyers will be looking for opportunities to test the new laws covering this developing market, and replicating a real person's actual voice might seem like low-hanging fruit.

I agree, we should not make voice models for actual people - only for specific fictional characters.
