I see the project has been in wip for over 6 years. I also want to try this to learn the protocol. Could you please share the current status or maybe any technical reason you did not go through with the project ?

Hi! There's no real technical reason why this project was abandoned, I just didn't have time/motivation to take it to the finish line. In its current state this repository mostly serves as reference code for a future someone interested in implementing capnproto in Swift. I don't currently have plans to make further progress in this area. Thanks for reaching out!
