You should definitely look into it. Let me know if you have any questions.
@adrianholovaty Thanks for dropping by. I have two main use cases in mind, and after browsing the site for a bit, neither seem to be addressed very well:
Ad 1, I did not find much content for kids (my main interest here for the moment is elementary to middle school). Of course, they could in principle use any part of the site, but that's not ideal for them to find something suitable for them. Sure, there are pieces like this one but I found no systematic way to go about exploring them, so they seem to be rather random.
Ad 2, what I have in mind here are Wikipedia pages (e.g. this one; more examples here, help here), which could in principle include some of the examples from Soundslice or link to them. For the former, the materials would need to be available under an open license, for which I found no indication on the site. For the latter, issues like the quality and permanence of the content and of the associated URLs would need to be worked out.
So for now, to me it looks like trying to use Soundslice for either of these things would be barking up the wrong tree, but I'd be happy to be proven wrong on this.
@Daniel-Mietchen The best way at the moment to find Soundslice materials for kids is to look at the "elementary" genre. But genres are self-provided, so they might not always be accurate.
For the reuse of materials, unfortunately I don't believe Wikipedia allows embedding of arbitrary iframes, so you couldn't embed a Soundslice "slice" directly in a Wikipedia page. But you could certainly link to a post you made on your own Soundslice channel. Those are no less permanent than other types of reference links on Wikipedia (news articles, blog posts, etc.).
