The Jupyter notebooks analyzing pol.is data come without actual data, but https://github.com/pol-is/openData/find/master and https://github.com/audreyt/polis-tally have some, including the data that seems to have been used in the notebooks.
Through their Twitter, I came across a tweet about an interesting post on long-term politics and an associated Clay Shirky TED talk, but I'll leave that for later.

I set up https://pol.is/m/7t8xadds8v to test things out. Not sure yet about next steps — I have seen pages like https://roamresearch.com/#/app/polis-methods/page/01-31-2020 that say
Post the link in your communication platform, along with statement of the polling period with date and time, to begin the polling period
but the link does not seem publicly accessible...
