I had another look at their website and registered on their forum https://onscienceandacademia.org/ .
I re-read the Code of Conduct of Eindhoven University, which they are using as the IGDORE default.
I also looked at the Affiliation form and am copying in a screenshot below.
I also looked at their Scholia profile:
Will try to make this a bit more complete.
I am participating in the Scholarship Values Summit jointly organized by IGDORE and Ronin (cf. #1450 ).
I am about to submit. Here are my responses to the text questions:
Daniel is a biophysicist interested in integrating open research and education workflows with the web, particularly through open licensing, open standards, open collaboration, public version histories and forkability. His research activities span from the subcellular to the organismic level, from fossils to developing embryos, from biodiversity informatics to data science and metascience. He actively contributes to the open knowledge ecosystem around Wikipedia and edits the open-science journal Research Ideas and Outcomes.
I have been following IGDORE activities for about a year now and engaged with them on occasion, mostly through activities jointly organized with the Ronin Institute, which I have known for longer and which I joined last year.
One of my key interests is the operationalization of research-related values, and so I participated in the Scholarly Values Summit and also helped summarize it.
From participating in IGDORE, I expect further stimulation of activities in the space of open science, especially ones that are aiming at systemic changes in the research landscape and coordinated across disciplinary and other boundaries.
I just received the notification that I have officially joined.
