WikidataCon 2021 went through this platform, and it worked nicely most of the time. I did notice occasional hickups but am not sure whether these were to blaime on them or on the involved participants or anything in between.

Their integration with pretalx and pretix for talk proposals and tickting, respectively, worked fine too, though I did not like that the talk submissions could not be made public right away.

Their code seems to be all open source, they seem to be GDPR-compliant, and their prices seem fair, so it's probably worth another try at some later point in time.
