One way to go about doing this is to check for similar tickets from the past, e.g.

Seems there are no cases of "main subject: Mechanics and Materials" at the moment, as per this query: Screenshot from 2021-12-02 04-48-35

The problem persists, though, as these tags come from using the old SourceMD, which tries to add main subject tags but often ends up choosing the wrong object for that.

In any case, the problem is broader in scope than just that journal: the maintenance query for that currently yields over 4k hits: Screenshot from 2021-12-02 05-01-47

In any case, this is on my radar, and I have done various such batches in the past (sample edit), as per instructions here.

When using the old SourceMD (the new one is blocked), I have recently often removed any P921 statements from its output before handing things over to QuickStatements. Have not done it systematically, though, so would be good to document that workflow too.
