The Du Boisian Scholar Network is currently seeking a Content Writer for their website to support its current efforts on growing its online presence into a digital platform that will serve the multifaceted needs of its community. A Design + Development Team is currently being established to help create and implement all requirements of the redesigned website. The first phase of the project will be dedicated to updating the current DBSN website ahead of the May convening. The D+D team is currently looking for a Content Writer to provide expertise in the following areas:
- Review all existing website content and establish a consistent tone/voice throughout the website
- Create new content based on User Experience insights and recommendations
- Write press releases announcing the launch of the website.
- Create a social media campaign to create garner attention around the redesign of the website
Beyond the logistics of the work, an underlying objective within this project is to weave a Du Boisian tradition into the workflow, hence the D+D team, to the best of their abilities, will be intentional in creating a team culture, process, and product that is emancipatory for ourselves and the community we are serving.
