Hello,

We are planning to use your script in an academic paper and would like to ensure we cite it correctly. Do you have a preferred citation format? For instance, should we reference the GitHub repository directly, or is there a specific paper we should cite?

Thank you!

Hi, there is no scientific article covering this script. I wrote it for a de novo genome annotation project of a plant genome :) You can reference the repository directly if you want.

As this is a simple wrapper script around Augustus itself you might want to look into the necessary citations for that annotation pipeline depending on which parts of it you used :)

Also don't forget to cite GNU parallel which is used by the script. But I'm pretty sure you remember the agreement that you had to accept when installing it :)

Last but not least a selfish request. When the article is published drop the DOI in the comments here! I'm curious to see the application of the script!

Happy that it was of help to your work :)

Cheers, Daniel
