Crashing after selecting characters #142

Seems the new update forces program to close after hitting select kn characters. Confirmed on other player’s PC’s.

Confirmed above issue. After Nov 9th game patch, the Cure Please immediately crashes upon character selection.

Download the new EliteAPI.DLL to fix - issue isnt with cure please

I downloaded the newest one from http://ext.elitemmonetwork.com/downloads/eliteapi/ stil seems to crash, am i missing something?

You are. You also need to download and update the Elite_MMO API from http://ext.elitemmonetwork.com/downloads/elitemmo_api/

I updated both and am back up and running.

i was running into the same issue but i downloaded the eliteAPI and eliteMMOapi from here http://www.elitemmonetwork.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=82 and it started working again just need to put the files into the cure please folder

I downloaded both but sadly still crashes :(

Followed the comments here and it is still crashing. This is a brief summation of the error I am getting. I have downloaded the latest version of cureplz again and I get the same results.

System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'EliteMMO.API, Version=1.3.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. File name: 'EliteMMO.API, Version=1.3.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'

Ok fixed it on my side, my problem is that i was downloading the dll with Brave browser which was fucking up the dll

I ended up redownloading the entire thing and it started working. I don't know exactly what the problem was though.

I have tried a dozen times in the past couple days and this does not want to work. It crashes every single time after selecting character. I have no doubt that I am doing something wrong as I have not had to reinstall this program for several years and am most likely screwing something up...can someone verify if there is a current problem and/or post a simple "re-install from base" guide for me to redo it all? Much appreciated!

Where do you have your dll files at? This is a pic of mine. The dll files in this pic are the last ones available. The ones that are in the CP master are the ones that come with the CP download. API is 1.4.0.2 and the MMOAPI is 1.3.0.0. I had the same issue with a few days until I did this.

I don't see the pic of how yours is installed file-wise. I currently don't have it installed to even reference how my file structure is because I uninstalled it all to start fresh because of all the crashes I had. So I wanted to check with y'all on how you had it installed and working currently...sorry.

You need to download both newer files and replace the older ones:

API - http://ext.elitemmonetwork.com/downloads/eliteapi/ MMO API - http://ext.elitemmonetwork.com/downloads/elitemmo_api/

System Cache may make you download the older versions so always confirm in properties - Details the correct ones were downloaded.
