After installing joycond and being able to have my Switch Pro Controller show up in Steam Big Picture as a virtual controller (I used the minus and plus input), I rebinded the dpad (they're now 'hat1' to 'hat4') and booted elden ring. However when I got in game everything works as intended however the left stick also activates the dpad functionality of the same direction the stick is facing. Is there an optimal way to connect the controller to steam so this doesn't happen? Do I need to recalibrate the left stick?
