Single JoyCon mode not working in Steam #92

I've been trying to use 2 of my JoyCons as 2 seperate input devices, but they only work when being used as one controller.

I'm using Pop!_OS and the Xanmod kernel, so I'm not sure if it's related to that

It works fine here, but Steam's remapping options are limited, so I end up with inverted axes because of thumbstick rotation (one controller has top/bottom swapped and the other has left/right swapped).
