Can´t burn CD with external drive PLEXTOR PX-W1210A (USB/Firewire) #107

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Hit the burn button in track listing window, this will open the tray of the
drive
2. Insert CD and close the tray.
3. Now XLD is waiting for the drive. Nothing more happened.
4. You only can press abort

How about the reproducibility (always, sometimes, rarely, ...)?
always

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
XLD Version 20120908 (141.1) (older Version with same behavior), iMac 27" OSX
10.7.5, MBP 15,4" OSX 10.8.2

Please provide any additional information below.
The enclosure has USB 2.0 and Firewire 400. When i connect the drive with
firewire, i can´t burn and also can´t rip.
With USB connection i can rip but not burn.
The drive works perfect with Toast11 and iTunes (USB+Firewire).

Here are some information from Apple´s system profiler:

PLEXTOR CD-R PX-W1210A:
  Firmware-Version: 1,10

  Cache: 2048 KB
  Read DVD: No
  Writable CD: -R, -RW

Well, XLD uses Apple's Disc Recording framework and drive control is totally
dependent on it. Does it work with Disk Utility.app which uses the same engine?

Hi!

It will not work with Disk Utility.app.
Do you have any suggestions for me?

Thank you in advance!

Then I can do nothing in XLD side. How about sending bug report to Apple?
