duplicates created on conversion

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.converting from flac to lossy for portable device
2.happens on batch edit
3.duplicate files created

How about the reproducibility (always, sometimes, rarely, ...)?
always

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see the converted format, but instead see doubles of all the files.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 20121222 (142.2), mac os 10.7.5

Please provide any additional information below.
This seems to be happening on folders with .cue files in them only.  
unfortunately I am not able to get rid of the .cue files as I need them for 
other purposes, but need to convert the files for portable device, but do not 
need two of each file.  Is there a way to have xld ignore the .cue file while 
doing a batch convert, I've looked around and have not been able to find one.  
Issue is very annoying.

Not a bug. XLD is opening and converting both .cue and .flac. If you don't want 
to open .cue with XLD use the option in the "Batch" preferences tab.
