White Noise from CUE file #228

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Converting to any Lossless from CUE file.
2.Get white noise output
3.A damage to my ears and B&W speakers.

How about the reproducibility (always, sometimes, rarely, ...)?
Sometimes it does work from a CUE file many times it does not.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I do not see I get a WHITE NOISE sound see [example]

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 20131102 (145.0) OSX 10.4.11

Here is the link to the CUE file plus what I get when I decode them.

I am only sending one file track 1 as an example but basically it did to all of
them.
They are working fine when I use MAX.

Please provide any additional information below.

Well, do not use "Open Raw PCM" menu if you are using it. It is not for opening
normal audio files.

Have you tried yourself?
If I do not use Raw PCM I get one single file instead of all the 6 tracks.
I will have to use an Audio editor to split them into parts.
I sent you a link have you checked it?

Huh? Just use "Open..." menu and select .cue, not .flac. Again, "Open Raw PCM"
cannot be used for opening flac (wav, ape, etc) + cue files. It is for opening
Raw PCM (.wav without header) files.

This is what I wrote in "How to use" section in the XLD website years ago.

Hi,

It did work.I forgot to use it that way I kept on thinking it was not
splitting the tracks and not trying any other way.

Thank you.

Best,

Guill
