Certain CDs eject after the ripping process starts #232

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Insert the CD while the XLD is running.
2. After scanning for gaps click on the Extract button.

How about the reproducibility (always, sometimes, rarely, ...)?
Always with certain CDs.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect the ripping process to complete through, but it ends abruptly after
start.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
VLD version 20131102 (145.0), Mac OS X 10.9.1

Please provide any additional information below.
I have an external Apple Superdrive (HL-DT-ST DVDRW GX30N: Firmware Revision:
RP09).

The problem occurs only with certain CDs. I've noticed that every one of them
has a mirror-like outer rim on the data surface (contrast to the data track
itself which is slightly dimmer). But not every CD with such rim is not able to
be ripped. Some of them are, so maybe this is not the case.

The eject of the CD occurs only after the burning process has started, not when
reading the gaps.

I tried booting under windows on the BootCamp and burning via EAC and got the
same result on this drive. So maybe it is a drive specific issue. I think there
should be a specific command to be added to lock the drive while extracting.
