ALAC Decoder Error with Files > ~400MB #303

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Attempt to convert an m4a file that is > ~400MB in file size.

How about the reproducibility (always, sometimes, rarely, ...)?
Always

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected conversion to FLAC file.
See "Error has occurred in the decoder".

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 20141129 (148.1) on OS X 10.9.5

Please provide any additional information below.
The file was originally in DFF format and converted to ALAC with ALAC. 
Converting the ALAC to FLAC is when this error occurs. Converting from DFF to 
FLAC directly does not produce an error.

Correction:

Additional info should read: 
"The file was originally in DFF format and converted to ALAC with XLD..."
