Very slow on 2015 Macbook, no cover flow on generated mp4 files #328

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add a cover to files in xld, generate mp4, no picture on mp4. 
2. Very slow -- see the whirling colored disk for 10 seconds whatever you do.

How about the reproducibility (always, sometimes, rarely, ...)?
Always.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Generates file w/o cover flow

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Yosemite, latest.  Java latest. XLD latest.

Please provide any additional information below.

Works fine on my Macbook Pro 13" (2014).  I reinstalled Java on the Macbook, 
trashed preferences and reinstalled xld.  Still does not work on the Macbook.
