This appears to be a difference between Mac and Windows in how the widows are
displayed.

There is no difference in functionality. In Mac the window can still be
re-sized by dragging the edge of the window, even though though there is no
visible border as there is on Windows.

I am inclined to close this issue as Invalid or WontFix since there is no
missing or broken functionality, just a difference in appearance between the
two platforms. Do you agree?

I experimented with changing the available AUI art provider metrics, but was
only able to influence the appearance of the windows when docked. I was unable
to influence the appearance when un-docked. This leads me to believe that the
un-docked appearance is determined by OSX, not by wx AUI. Thus it will be
difficult to make this look like Windows and questionable that we would even
want to make it look like Windows... or should we make the Windows version look
like Mac :)

Thanks for looking into this Andy. If it is "the Mac way", then who am I to
argue.
