User reports segmentation fault as follows:
Hi, not sure if this is the appropriate place, but I have just compiled the
above version and have been testing the menu buttons. Cannot do much else as it
is raining. I do not have any camera set up and there is obviously no star
selected. I then go into View the click the RA/DEC button and phd segfaults.
All other options in View work fine. The only info I have at the moment is
[13269.755039] perf samples too long (2516 > 2500), lowering
kernel.perf_event_max_sample_rate to 50000

Bruce, I am happy to test when ready. You were correct I did my testing
immediately after getting the compile to complete. i.e. I had not set anything
up or attempted to connect to anything. I read your email in time so I am happy
to leave my setup as is until the fix. Brian

I just committed the change in dev release 621. If you can let me know how it
works, I'll either close the issue or try to find another resolution. Thanks.

Thanks, Brian. I just committed the change in dev release 621 - if you can
let me know how it goes, that would be great. And thanks for "freezing"
your environment. :-)

Bruce, Just did the recompile and tested it using the compiled version out of
the svn lib and it worked fine. Tested it again with my saved copy of phd2 and
it segfaulted.
Tested it again with the new one no problem. Fixed I'd say:)
