Can't type "b" in drift alignment adjustment notes on Mac #282

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start drift aligning tool
2. Try type in text that includes the letter "b"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would expect to see a b, instead nothing happens (or perhaps a bookmark is
set)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
PHD 2.2.2, OS X Mavericks

this works fine on Windows and Linux, apparently just an OSX issue

This appears to have broken when we switched to wxWidgets-3.0.0. The
EVT_CHAR_HOOK hook [MyFrame::OnCharHook] is not being called in OSX any more.
Need more investigation to find out why or to develop a workaround.

workaround until we fix this: type the notes in another app, then paste them
into PHD2
