"Adaptive Optics" should be "Active Optics" #321

I was talking with some professional astronomers a while back about PHD2, and
one of them pointed out that the device we support is an "Active optics"
device, not an "Adaptive Optics" device, which is the thing that actually bends
the mirror.

Looking at my SX-AO, I notice it says "Active Optics" on the sticker.

I was going to change the code and help files, but then noticed the string
"Adaptive" appears in the locale files as well, and I didn't want to break
anything.

If someone who understands the localization better than I do can tell me how to
change it without breaking the world, I'll make the changes.

if you change it in _("...") then the translations will just return the
untranslated (English) text until the translators update the translations.

The help docs may also say Adaptive, so we should change it there too (help
sources are now in the help/ subdirectory

Jeez, I don't think this is right. Take a look at Wikipedia or this one:
http://www.eso.org/sci/facilities/develop/ao/what_ao.html

"Active" optics deforms the mirror, "adaptive" optics does what we know about.
Note as well that SBIG sells "adaptive optics" devices. :-)
