I don't know if it's really a bug but it seems weird that you can't flip what you just copypasted. Selecting a part of your canvas then fliping it work fine, though.

I can't seem to reproduce this? I made a sprite, copied and pasted it, then used cmd+f to horizontally or cmd + shift + f to vertically flip the selection. As expected, the selection flipped in the according direction. Do you have layers involved or something? I tested on OS X, though as its made in AIR, I find it unlikely to be OS related bug, of course that is only an assumption.

When you paste image on canvas it ist surrounded by 8 squares which let you resize pasted image. You can't flip the image in this state, you have to click outside of the pasted image, then the squares are gone but pasted image is still selected. You can flip it then.

That's a fair point, it should probably work the same when transforming.
