not working on Firefox #58

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open the web site: 
https://www.e-contract.be/eid-applet-beta/identification.seam
2. Generic Error: 
in details, you see: 
ERROR: no session cookie detected!
...
java.lang.RuntimeException: expected a protocol start message
...

Am I correct if I understand the eid-applet is currently only supported on 
Internet Explorer? (The only browser that allows session cookies)
