GPS sensor integration for Ubuntu #20

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. no connection with GPS receiver
2.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
GPS should be found by program ( other programs do find it on same desktop) GPS 
receiver on ttyUSB0 (udev rule) symlinked to com5.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
waze_0.0.9-5~precise1_i386.deb on Ubuntu 12.04

Please provide any additional information below.
Not yet implemented in software.
Would love to see it work on my in-carpc (driven by Ubuntu since 3 years.)
