App not asking for storage perms and not downloading anything as well as the downloads button/folder not oppening within app #551

The same thing happened to me. Here's how I fixed it:

  1. Back up all downloaded comics then uninstall the current version.
  2. Install version 2.8 and grant storage permission.
  3. Overwrite the installation to the latest version(for me is 3.0.0).

If normal, the granted permissions are retained.
