Game freezes on menu #57

Describe the bug The app freezes as soon as it reaches the menu, with the music playing normally.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Build with default options with sm64pvBuilder2.
  2. Start the game.
  3. Press space bar or game controller start button to go to the menu.
  4. Menu freezes with no text other than the "new" graphics.

Expected behavior The menu should be functional.

Additional context

GPU: Intel Arc A750 Drivers: 31.0.101.4032 Game controller: DualShock 4, issue occurs whether controller is powered on or not.
