Isn’t vanilla crosshair within the atlas texture of all HUD elements?
Oh wait I misinterpreted this. I think it would also be nice to have the option to use a custom texture since messing with the entire texture limits some flexibility. Though I don’t know if a good way to do that.
You can search for kronhud:textures/gui/crosshair.png, and if it's not present use the vanilla crosshair instead. Alternatively, this could be separated into another setting.
This changes it so that when the "Texture" option is selected, the crosshair hud uses the vanilla crosshair from the current pack, instead of a mod texture that most packs will not implement.
If you still want packs to have a bit more control - maybe be able to have a different crosshair for KronHUD (perhaps with multiple colours), you could always add two textures, one which is prioritised, but not included by default, or have a separate option.
I also thought that it would be handy to have a "Custom" option that allows users to design their crosshair ingame (similar to how Lunar Client does it).
I thought I'd mention a few changes I didn't mention in my last pull request for 1.17: I changed the edit HUD key to Right Shift, as this is what many other mods use. I added the Discord server to the description. If you do not like these changes, feel free to revert them. I just forgot to mention them earlier.
