4 years ago did you find a way to get rid of the mosquito for ever? I've been having the same issue but with a botfly larva and killing myself then restarting doesn't seem to work. No one else on the world can see the bug that is damaging me.

4 years ago @Elvisman221 If the botfly is attatched to you, then I have no idea. I am not sure how a normal botfly is removed. I got one once and I was spamming shift in some mud or something in erebus and it went away. Wiki says you have to drink that bug juice, but it's actually not drinkable.
If it's not attached, then you should be able to despawn it after a server restart. (Maybe restart not need, idk, but it is what caused the mosquito to move and be visible for me)
Move far away and coming back despawned the mosquito.

4 years ago @Elvisman221 @killslash About the botfly it can be removed drinking the beetle juice. It doesn't work from a normal bucket, but it works at least with the bamboo bucket there might other ways to drink it.

Expected Behaviour
Ran in to the nuttiest bug. There was some edge case issue with Morph mod or something. After transforming back from an Erebus mosquito it somehow left the transformed state seperate from me as a hostile mosquito I could not sleep in bed and saw nothing even in spectator I turned the game to PEACEFUL and still couldn't sleep turned back to hard difficulty restarted server and there is a mosquito flying around that's completely immune to damage. Kill entities didn't even kill it.
Possible Solution
After restart, flying away and back seemed to despawn it.
Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)
Not sure. It may have to do with waystones, as I think I used one however it would simply be a matter of transforming back and forth from a mosquito near a bed.
