I'ven been going through a lot of recently for my builds, using bricks for some of my newer buildings. I explored a 6K x 6K square around my base to find a Mesa biome, for which I was very unlucky (the top 1.5K is hot biomes as well).
PROBLEM:
Anyway, I saw the recipe for the molten clay, which I was excited for, until I realized that the seared stone recipe is changed (understandably) to take only grout or already seared stuff. Using that, it means you end up needing clay to get clay. Overall, it is a way to end up doubling your clay, but I was hoping to get free clay simply from other resources.
POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS:
Instead of needing seared stone, make a new recipe for molten stone (or some other common material like gravel) so you can use cobble or smooth stone to make the clay.
Make a recipe to make seared stone in the smeltery with molten clay, gravel, and glass. This is a way to infinitely double your clay with adding more gravel, sand, dirt, and water.
Take seared stone out of the recipe all together. It seems like Dirt and water making clay is not a crazy recipe, especially since you can't get actual clay, but terracotta and bricks.

Thanks for listening to my ideas!
