Auto Crafter & Mob Masher Bugs #1026

Open CatOnHead opened 5 years ago

CatOnHead commented 5 years ago

Bug Report

Mob Masher states that its kills count as player kills but they do nothing for the Deep Mob Learning modpack's features. Mobs killed by the Masher do not count towards the collected data of the Data Models.

Expected Behaviour

Kills made by the Mob Masher, aka Player Kills, should count towards levelling the Data Models of the Deep Learner.

Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)

  1. Set up a mob farming system utilizing the Mob Masher for kills.
  2. Equip the Data Model for the farmed mob(s) into the Deep Learner.
  3. Even though the mobs would die to the Mob Masher, it will not count towards the Data number on any Data Model in the Deep Learner. It does however count as a Player Kill as Player-Kill-only drops will still appear from the killed mobs.

Edit: This could potentially be intended if the requirement to level the Data Models is to deal the killing blow, and that the Mob Masher does not count towards said requirement.

The bit about it saying it counts as a player kill, means you'll get item/xp drops that only a player would get from killing a mob. If you want to level up your data models, kill the mobs manually or put them in a simulation chamber and let it process - it will go up, but it's slower than doing it by hand.
