ThisMod Failed #76

Environment Details

Mod Version: 2.0.123 Game Version: 1.12.2 Loader Type: Forge Loader Version: 14.23.5.2860 Game Type: Client

The Issue

  1. I transferred the modpack from one computer to another several days ago. And then the first stage could use and see the items of fifth stage which causes many items could not be crafted. I deleted the modpack and download it again but it didn't work. (debugging with the instructions of the module is useless)
  2. when I get the item of the fifth stage, the game did not say 'unfamiliar form' and let me drop it and every items were not shown what stage thwe were.

Reproduction Steps

Steps that others can use to recreate this issue.

  1. Download the modpack.
  2. Transfer a modpack with the mod 'game stages' from one computer to another
  3. Launch a dedicated server.
  4. Occur the above problems

1.12.2 is no longer being developed or supported however I have looked into your latest.log file and have a few notes that could help you resolve the situation.

  • GameStages is 100% portable so moving it to a new computer should work fine. This has been tested and is still working as expected.
  • GameStage data is tied to your user UUID. If the UUID changes you will lose your progress. This is primarily an issue for users with multiple accounts or pirated accounts which I can't support. Your latest.log file shows errors related to UUIDFixer which could be related to your issue.
  • Make sure you have copied over all of the files. Based on your log files it looks like the scripts were not copied over as it says multiple times that 0 stages have been loaded.

Thanks, but where can I find the script and the UUID in the older modpack?

The scripts are located in the scripts folder in the root of your MC instance. The UUID is given to you by Mojang when you buy your account and sign in.

But I have tried copying the scripts file from the old computer to the newer one, but the question "when I get the item of the last stage, the game did not say 'unfamiliar form' and let me drop it and every items were not shown what stage thwe were" is still not be solved. Can you raise another suggestion?
