i start a new world using 1.0.9 invasion and i can't craft cobble stone, something that change is the cobblestone recipe become 1 clay surrounded by 8 rocks, and dirt is sievable and give diorite granite etc pebble which is craftable to their stone counterpart, but stone pebble can't be crafted into cobblestone
on a sidenote, it's still doable to make cobblegen without cobblestone with PA Miner cobblegen, as long as you can find a village for furnace to make clay bucket, easy to get lava source and plenty of those pebble (so basically many vanilla dirt)
