[Suggestion]: Make Mutilation a Middle click option as well as a critical #313

What is the suggestion?

Change it so that we can middle click and have a timer to guarantee that we will pluck out an eye, cut off an ear or remove someones tongue instead of having to risk decapitating someone to mutilate them. Also, fingers and toes would be nice as well. If you could add sprites for the different types of ears as well that would be great.

Why is this suggestion good?

Because it allows for a wider range of punishments than just beheading, imprisonement and stoning.

Correct me if I'm wrong but can't the surgical system do some of this?

To an extent, yes. However unless you want to give the dungeoneer and puritan a surgical bag and medical skills then it makes the use case moot. Also this would be useable without a bed considering most cases the person would be in a chair, or chains.

I think an alternative approach is to add the classic 'ghetto surgery' functionality to certain items so gouging eyes and removing tongues can be performed with incisions, forks, spoons, wooden stakes, a chop-intent attack, and other things relatively easy to find.

If we could add those functions to torture implements then yeah that could work. Tongs for a retractor, bone snapper for breaking and setting bones, tongue loosener (Reference to Robinhood Men in tights), and add a modified surgical table called the rack that can lock people in place on it.

This might be a feature included only for cultists so that they may harvest the organs needed for rituals. Otherwise it will be gamed to render people unrevivable by fraggers.

If people wanted to do that then they can already decap then cup open the skull with anything that can cut. Plus in most cases decapping is already Unrevivable as far as anyone cares. Without an admin to put the soul back in the body even a feldsher reattaching the head they can't renter the corpse.
