Generally, I keep peerblock allow http off.
Not infrequently, I have to right-click and allow http. I try to allow for a
time, not permanently. (I LOVE that the icon turns yellow, now, when I do that!)
Not infrequently, afterwards, I decide I'm going to go back to that site more
than once, and need to allow the address(es) permanently.
Normally, I have allowed logging off - I only want to see the exceptions being
blocked. So I can't see what addresses I just went to, that are normally
blocked.
It would be useful if there were an option to turn allowed logging on, for this
time duration of allow http, even though I have turned allow logging off.
Then I can go back through the logs, determine which ones were pertinent, and
allow those addresses permanently.
Currently, nothing appears in the allow logs.
So:
Settings Request:
Log Window
Show allowed connections (I keep unchecked)
Show allowed connections during allow http for # minutes (new option)
Thanks for anything you can do, and for listening.
