I've started moving Markdown pages into GitHub. In the process, I've learned how to create local links and insert and format inline graphics (https://github.com/Darwin-River/Robotics/commit/098c143fa252cb23f8a49d4a8f5326e74a317207).
Since GitHub doesn't like spaces in file names, I've adopted a convention of using underscores instead.
Uploaded images and parts descriptions. However, some of the images aren't rendering correctly for me.
Fixed the issues with the images by reloading them. It appears to create problems when I rename the images. So I need to name them before uploading them.
Imported Line Racer files into GitHub. Next, I'll need to focus on transferring the various tutorials into GitHub and finally, the progress report sections.
It will be easiest for me to work with repository files and directories on my desktop before committing changes to the online repository. Unfortunately, Atom is no longer supported. Therefore, I installed MS Visual Studio Code and used that to start organizing the directories with the intent of importing tutorials from Obsidian.
I consolidated robot challenge folders in the Challenges directory (https://github.com/Darwin-River/Robotics/commit/dc5e564c2834df0f48fd501112c566fa765abb02).
I imported all tutorial pages from Obsidian (https://github.com/Darwin-River/Robotics/commit/9da5597d9df912cd5c8f4f672f361c87140755d3).
Imported existing progress reports from Obsidian (https://github.com/Darwin-River/Robotics/commit/5378d8f5658b71a29f5a6e61a645a397efcc43ae).
I've finished porting all content from Obsidian to GitHub. Task complete.
Up until this point, I have been developing most of my Tournament Robotics content on Obsidian. Now I want to transfer it to GitHub so that I have better version control.
