Something is said about its presence in 1.3.1.2, it may be present (we may want to change that to should):
1.3.1.2. ContentProtection Descriptor for UUID Scheme A UUID ContentProtection descriptor in the MPD may indicate the availability of a par-ticular DRM scheme for license acquisition.
It is not mandatory (only recommended), only the cenc is mandatory. Add clarification if deemed appropriate. Niels is addressing.
Actually agreed. pssh is exist so the information can be obtained from pssh.
We took that position with DVB and HbbTV, but had to compromise for the sake of compatibility with “Should”.

Section 1.4.2: "‘pssh’ data should be present in the ContentProtection Descriptor for the UUID Scheme."
Nothing is said on the presence of such UUID schemes. Is it mandatory (even without pssh data) ?
