Submitter: Shine Hello DASH-IF experts,

I am using your test-vectors to test your dash.js. I find that dash.js does not work with the test case (http://dash.akamaized.net/dash264/TestCasesUHD/2b/2/MultiRate.mpd), i.e., it just plays the audio without playing the video. Could you please tell me the reason and how to fix the issues?

Furthermore, I would like to have some test cases with short segment durations, e.g. 1s. Could you please inform me how I can find them?

@Shine – that test vector references codecs="hev1.1.6.L156.90" , which is HEVC. No MSE-based player (such as dash.js) will be able to play it unless that codec is supported by the browser. HEVC is not supported on any browser I believe except Edge on a Windows machine. Have you tried it under Edge on Windows 10 ?

Regarding segment length, since length is not a tested feature, I don’t believe we have official test vectors at 1s segment duration. If you would like some, please file a separate feature request at https://github.com/Dash-Industry-Forum/Test-Vectors/issues .
