Please find below the major updates/features to the dash.js client since April:

• Added support for Offline playback: It is possible to download streams to the IndexDB of the browser and play them without an active internet connection. Example can be found here: https://reference.dashif.org/dash.js/v3.1.1/samples/offline/index.html
• Added support for the Common Client Data specification as defined in WAVE. Example can be found here: http://reference.dashif.org/dash.js/v3.1.1/samples/advanced/cmcd.html
• Fix live edge calculation:
  • suggestedPresentationDelay is used if defined in the MPD
  • Specifying the latency as a multiple of the segment duration now works if the AdaptationSets have different segment durations
• Fixed major bugs in the DASH event handling: Prior to this bugfix events at period boundary were not triggered.
• Major refactoring to remove circular dependencies in the player
