Open questions:

What are the required header information in SPS and DecoderConfiguration for Initialization?
Start from CMAF Header
What information in the CMAF Header is used by the decoders?
What information in the encoder is available?

Next steps:

formulate the playback adaptive switching use cases for the codecs (switching, initialization)
What are parameters required on elementary level?
What are parameters required on file format level?
What are parameters required for decryption level?
What are the parameters required on DASH level?
Check the current CMAF specification how well it addresses the above problems?

[Liaison Call] A paragraph on the gap analysis on video conformance test streams to cover the dynamic adaptive streaming use-cases and also possible investigation for Decoder configuration APIs for this purpose [Ye-Kui].
