Hi, I would like to know if there is any DASH-IF validation process defined or will be set to confirm if the implementation is as per the specification?

This is still an open topic. From our last call (July 5). Comments and contributions are welcomed.

Conformance and test vectors for watermarking

We can create some test vectors with some tokens in direct mode (VOD asset with byterange requests and the sidecar file, the watermarking is a visible overlay on the video). That would allow testing between a player on a device and a CDN edge that the logic works.
All interactions in the backend (from the encoder to the CDN edge) are too complex (too many options). We do not aim at creating anything here.
