I'd like to inquire the status if dash.js supporting playing spacial sub-parts portions of the video .

This issue is over 5 years old and wanted to double check that this is still true. https://github.com/Dash-Industry-Forum/dash.js/issues/2358

Sorry, we don't support SRD and there is currently no plan to implement it.
