Different browsers allow different combinations of online player (http or https) with local (http) content.
To allow for a consistent behavior, a new mechanism where the player URL is proxied through the livesim2 server when running with http (like localhost) should be implemented.
This should be automatic, so that an online https server will not do any proxying, while for local playback, the player should be available via http:///player/*
