Upgrade to .NET 6 #131

Upgrade from .NET 5 to .NET 6 (before going all the way to .NET 8 ( #93 ). That way, it can at least hopefully run on the new laptop w/o having to install .NET 5 there.

After taking a crack at it, this does look promising. I'd hoped the integrated IdentityServer4 would still work with .NET 6, so the refactoring would be less. But it doesn't look like it. So, might was well just do the upgrade straight to .NET 8 (#93) and also the minimally necessary UI stack refactor (#132).

Closing this as ain't gonna do it.
