Information from Louise: Right now we don’t have a set way to display that information. In the interim, I think providing it in the description via the readme in the root repo would be the best option. Or at least in that readme have a link that points to the dedicated documentation for the costs.The way dockstore populates the description field right now is that it if you provide a meta tag within your WDL that will take precedence, but WDL doesn’t have as much support for embedding documentation and metadata (compared to say CWL). However if you don’t provide this inside your main WDL, Dockstore will instead pull the default readme from your the git repo’s root directory.

Another option: if you have computes resources as parameterized variables in your descriptor, you can use WDL’s param metadata feature to describe what that parameter is used for. In there you can a description/example of what specific values for say memory, CPU, etc, relate to cloud costs. +
Include information about runtimes from VCF merge workflows in the workflow repo on Dockstore. Maybe also BDC Collection example notebook?
