The hardcoded theme looks great, but breaks one of the preconfigured CKAN layouts and overrides any other custom themes. Could the ckan-galleries theming be made optional, or even moved into its own extension? ckanext-spatial is a good example which requires modifications to stock templates to enable its functionality.
