Are you referring to the new tables developed by Elton and Daniel mapping HS products to ISIC industries?
We currently do not use this at all in the site, but when we do implement this table we will incorporate it into the Learn More section.
Maybe we can include a excel file in Learn More, so users can download before we get this incorporated.
What u think about that?
I'm not sure I understand why anyone would want this if it is not being used on the site.
As we are using RAIS and SECEX data and that we transformed the classifications to another, users may ask how we found a value for a specific ISIC and region, for example.
We are not transforming the data to a different classification. RAIS data uses ISIC and SECEX data uses HS, which we are displaying on the site and in the attributes list in learn more.
Currently, on the site, we do not do any mapping between HS and ISIC classifications.
We used this excel to transform the original database (RAIS + SECEX) and users may ask how we did that. These two tables above we are cleanning to include in delivery docs and others users has asked we before asking how we did those. SECEX: NCM -> HS (NCM2007 with 4 digits) RAIS: CNAE -> ISIC
And there is another table that can help users to that want to know how to associate a product to a activity. We have already sent to you. HS -> ISIC
Added CNAE -> ISIC and HS -> ISIC crosswalks to the Analysis page in the learn more in this commit https://github.com/alexandersimoes/dataviva/commit/233b36269d1bc18a21de59c2f6d658881bcec7d1
I added translations for "to" and "crosswalk", so that "CNAE to ISIC Crosswalk" becomes "CNAE a ISIC Conversão". Please let us know if there is a better translations for this.
We have not pulled these changes to the live site yet.
Would be interesting to show to the user how we made the map between Products and Activities classification.
Maybe a static table in Learn More, and linking in some other places in doc should be enough to help users.
