Crash when opening new dataset when program is already running #1

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run program
2. Open dataset
3. Open different dataset

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Program apparently doesn't update the dataset definition in memory, crashes 
trying to access 
columns in the table that don't exist.
