No error messages on Windows #125

Sometimes the program stops, but you don't get an error message when running on Windows. I don't have a Windows machine myself, but perhaps we can rent one at paperspace.com

I've got a windows machine. Is there a specific example or editor this occurs with?

I didn't save it, it was a participants computer

I've tried to mess around a bit with the different models from the epidemic tutorial, and I cannot seem to provoke a crash without an error message.

Although, I did notice that the models lagged more on Windows than on Linux.
