data availability matrix #42

Where we'll have datasets as rows (baci_92, baci_96, comtrade monthly etc) and years/months as columns with their cells color coded to their status: available, unavailable, forthcoming.

Hi @gabrielaperezponce Gaby. What I think this solution obscures, is what types of data, and what countries we have data for. It is too much of a vizbuilder that requires the user to know what they are searching for. We are looking for a solution that helps the user discover the data we have. For instance, how would a user in this dataset discover that we have data for France? or Japan? The purpose of the data availability matrix is to communicate to users interested in becoming paying customers what data we have, and they can get access too. It needs to be an explicit interface gears towards browsing and discovery, not a search interface, geared at compactness. Thanks!
